Our stay was quite mixed; the hotel has gorgeous gardens and really friendly staff, which made for a pleasant experience. The breakfast options were great, and the pool area was a highlight for us. However, the room we got was quite shabby and far from the main facilities, making it less enjoyable.

My stay had its ups and downs. While the staff was really friendly and the food in the Cellars Bar was excellent, I found my room was off the main landing and it was quite noisy with doors banging through the night. Also, the lack of privacy from male golf players checking in at the desk was a bit uncomfortable for me during my stay.
